We’re charting a new course for
ambulatory care in Mississippi

A wide array of new technical advancements make it possible to perform procedures at Meridian Surgery Center every day that in the past were only done in hospitals. Newly developed equipment, extensive training and quality experience help our physicians use less invasive surgical techniques than in the past. Medications that only a short time ago were not available allow our anesthesiologists to provide better relief of discomfort with fewer side effects.

Although great strides have been made in the medical field, you can be assured that we still believe in good old fashioned patient care. You are our highest priority. At Meridian Surgery Center we are dedicated to providing exceptional care with compassion.

Meridian Surgery Center is a 10,700 square foot general surgical center in Meridian, Mississippi. Our hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Our center is owned by six local practicing physicians and has eight physicians on staff. The center managed by Global Surgical Partners (www.globalsurgicalpartners.com).

Our Team and Services
From the time you come through our doors until you leave, you will appreciate the quality and professionalism that our expertly trained team provides. We work hard to make each and every patient feel at ease and comfortable.

You will discover the high degree of technical expertise and experience of our team when you are greeted at the Pre-Op area. Here, you will be assessed and monitored by our nurses, be prepared for your specific procedure, and be seen by one of our anesthesiologists.

You can be assured that all of the latest features are included in our spacious operating rooms, from central medical gas and vacuum systems, to monitors and state-of-the-art surgical and anesthesia equipment. Meridian Surgery Center features the latest video systems and endoscopes to help your physician view and evaluate the entire system.
All of our recovery room beds are monitored with non-invasive cardiac, blood pressure, and oxygen monitors. These monitors help ensure that our nurses have up-to-the-minute data when you are in recovery following your procedure. When you have recovered sufficiently from anesthesia, you will be assisted to a comfortable recliner where your IV will be removed, and you may be offered something to eat or drink. Here you will also receive detailed instructions before you are discharged. A family member or friend is invited to join you at this time.
